Swedish massage is a therapeutic, clinical treatment using long gliding strokes, kneading, and gentle mobilization to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support overall nervous‑system regulation. Pressure is fully adjustable—light, moderate, deep—depending on your comfort level, tissue sensitivity, and treatment goals. Swedish massage provides broad, therapeutic pressure that helps ease stiffness, stress, headaches, and postural discomfort while still allowing the body to relax.
-
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, specialized form of massage to help move excess lymph fluid through the body and reduce swelling caused by lymphedema. Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses light, rhythmic movements designed to encourage healthy lymphatic circulation without deep pressure. Many people with lymphedema use MLD to help manage swelling, discomfort, heaviness, and restricted movement, especially after surgery, cancer treatment, or injury.

CDT combines manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise, and skin care to help reduce and manage swelling. A key part of CDT involves the use of compression wraps and compression garments, which help prevent lymph fluid from building back up after treatment and support ongoing circulation throughout the day. Compression wraps are often used during the intensive phase of treatment to reduce significant swelling, while fitted compression sleeves, stockings, or garments are typically worn long term to maintain results and improve comfort, mobility, and limb support.
-
Lymphatic taping is used following manual lymphatic drainage massage with elastic kinesiology tape applied in specific patterns that slightly lift the skin, helping encourage lymph flow and decrease fluid buildup after surgery, injury, inflammation, or chronic conditions such as lymphedema. Treatments are commonly sought for post-operative recovery, athletic recovery, pregnancy-related swelling, and cosmetic procedures.
-
An ADP Authorizer for compression garments is a healthcare professional approved under the provincial Assistive Devices Program (ADP) to assess patients and prescribe medically necessary compression garments for conditions such as lymphedema. An ADP authorizer evaluates the patient’s condition, takes precise measurements, determines the appropriate compression level and garment type, and completes the required ADP funding forms so eligible residents can receive partial financial coverage for custom garments through the Ontario Ministry of Health Assistive Devices Program.
-
Dolphin Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) is a non-invasive therapeutic technique that uses a handheld device to deliver low-frequency microcurrent impulses to specific acupuncture, trigger, and neurological points on the body to help reduce pain, relax muscle tension, improve circulation, and support nervous system regulation. Treatments are often applied for chronic pain, scar tissue release, stress reduction, sports injuries, postural dysfunction, and rehabilitation support, with many patients reporting a calming effect and improved mobility following sessions.
-
Acupuncture is offered within the scope and standards of Registered Massage Therapy as a therapeutic technique to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Using thin, sterile needles inserted into specific points on the body, acupuncture may help address concerns such as chronic pain, headaches, stress, sports injuries, muscle tightness, and mobility restrictions. Treatments are customized to each client’s needs and are often integrated with massage therapy techniques to support relaxation, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
